Harvest is a product of The Collective Group ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use the Harvest website and mobile app (collectively, the "Service").
Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email, name (if provided), username, and profile image. You may also choose to add a bio.
Content You Save
We store links and event details you save to Harvest, boards you create, and related metadata such as thumbnails, titles, tags, and notes. If you plan events, we store planning details (title, time, and location) you enter.
Social and Interaction Data
If you choose to follow friends or make your profile private, we process follower relationships, requests, and your privacy settings.
Usage and Device Information
We collect information about how you use the Service, such as pages/screens viewed, actions taken, and technical data like device type, operating system, and browser type. On the web we may use cookies and similar technologies for essential site operations and analytics.
Location (Optional)
Some features allow you to view places or map previews. If you grant location permission, we may use your approximate location to improve discovery; you can control this in your OS settings at any time. Harvest works without sharing precise location.
What We Do Not Collect
Harvest does not request photo ID, perform facial recognition, or collect biometric data. We do not use Face ID or any photo-based identity verification in this product.
How We Use Information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Save and organize your Harvest links and boards
- Show recommendations and relevant content
- Enable social features (following, sharing boards if you choose)
- Detect, prevent, and address abuse or technical issues
- Comply with legal obligations
Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information:
- With service providers that help us operate the Service (e.g., hosting, analytics, content delivery) under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.
- With other users when you choose to share content or when your profile/boards are public.

Retention
We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can delete individual items, boards, or your account; we also remove unused event records referenced by no one.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

- Delete items, boards, or your account
- Opt out of non-essential emails or notifications
